The Role

We have an opportunity for a Proposal/Bid Coordinator to own all proposal-related responsibilities whilst ensuring best practice for our Sydney region.  The successful candidate will work closely with the Sydney management, Marketing and Business Development teams to produce high quality proposals.

The Proposal/Bid Coordinator will be responsible for the coordination of proposals from proposal planning stage to formatting and production.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Develop structured and timely responses to proposals
  • Collating input from relevant stakeholders
  • Coordinate, format and produce high quality proposals for the Sydney region
  • Continuously improve proposal materials such as capability statements, CVs and project experience
  • Incorporating best practice in all proposal coordination and processes
  • Guide technical staff through the proposal process, including client requirements and proposal inputs
  • Coordinate the review process, engaging senior management and technical specialists as required
  • Managing industry award submissions
  • Help and leads our business support team in producing winning proposals

The Candidate

  • Upwards of 5 years of experience in proposals/bid coordination in a similar environment (Engineering or Construction industry is desirable)
  • Relevant Tertiary qualifications in Communications or similar
  • Highly organised and has exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proven internal stakeholder management, able to build rapport and engage with others effectively to get high quality input
  • Strong administrative skills, especially in managing large and multiple documents with the ability to juggle conflicting priorities and deadlines
  • Advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite.
