The Role

Our Brisbane office is currently growing its Civil capability.  Due to our current workload, we have a fantastic opportunity for 2x Senior Civil Project Managers to join our team.  With work in-hand and a strong pipeline, you will be immediately working on wide ranging, challenging projects, with the opportunity management responsibility and growing a team in the near future.

This is a first level management role, requiring the successful candidate to provide technical and functional leadership to others.  Operating in a supervisory and technical advisory capacity on small to medium multi discipline projects/tasks, you will be expected to show resourcefulness and be capable of operating successfully in a small office environment.

The Candidate

We are looking for someone who wants to take control of their career and is able to successfully operate in a highly autonomous, yet supportive, environment. This is a unique role and opportunity, and is not for everyone.

Applications are sought from candidates with the following attributes:

  • 10 + years of proven experience with strong project management / delivery capability, with the ability to apply project management principles at a competent level local
  • Experience in land development, subdivisions, roads, intersections, pavements, earthworks and stormwater drainage projects
  • Relevant Tertiary Qualifications in Project Management
  • The ability to manage multiple projects and goals at the same time, whilst working autonomously
  • Understanding of local government regulatory frameworks and statuary compliance requirements
  • Experience with civil design packages, 12D Model, AutoCAD, Drains, Music and HEC RAS.
  • Excellent communication skills - able to speak and write clearly, concisely, and compellingly for proposals
  • Creative problem solving skills to continually finds ways to overcome challenges and obstacles
  • Strong team ethic to work collaboratively across functional group
  • Proven ability to establish positive relationships with clients that enable ongoing work to be created
