The Role

We are currently seeking high school students currently studying technical design related subjects as well as interested recent school leavers, for our 2018 Apprentice Draftsperson Program. This role will be based in the Structural Engineering department of our Melbourne Office.

Working with professional and experienced teams on exciting and prestigious projects, you will be provided with extensive on-the-job training and mentoring. You will develop skills in the latest Revit, AutoCAD and Engineering technology and gain vast experience as part of our Apprentice Draftsperson Program.

Successful applicants will complete engineering studies at an accredited technical college, as part of an industry recognised apprenticeship. Along with an industry-competitive salary, all course fees will be reimbursed for your studies.

As the successful candidate you will possess:

  • Computer literacy with a keen interest in technical drawing. Exposure to software packages such as AutoCAD and Revit while not required, is highly preferred.
  • The ability to work independently or collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Enthusiasm along with a passion for the construction and engineering industry.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
