The Role

New opportunity for a talented individual who is looking to start their professional career as a receptionist, with opportunities to progress within Business Administration.

In our fast paced and dynamic office based in Charlestown, you will provide effective support to enhance the office environment and ensure a positive experience of working with Northrop for both clients and visitors, as well as team members. You will be joining an industry-leading team, with a focus on assisting and supporting our people to achieve their goals.

Key duties include, but are not limited to;

  • Answer incoming calls
  • Greeting visitors, providing refreshments
  • Booking travel requirements
  • Scheduling of meetings and catering
  • Supplies control (stationery, groceries and office supplies)
  • Maintenance of office equipment
  • Managing post, couriers and banking
  • Filing, photocopying and binding
  • General office tidiness

The Candidate

You will have access to many opportunities within Northrop and with our support, we will help you develop your career by providing you with opportunities in business administration and/or finance. 

As the successful candidate you will possess:

  • Basic level experience in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Initiative and the ability to work with minimal supervision
  • High work standards and attention to detail, ensuring quality and accuracy for all tasks
  • Reliability, capable of working well with people at all levels
  • Strong customer service orientation with a proactive and helpful approach
